MEDAL OF EXCELLENCE
This is the 4th edition of this prestigious award and as we almost wind down the submission phase, here is a word from last year's (2024) winner, @Wokober He took home a cash prize of UGX 11,000,000 (USD 3,000).
On top of the cash prize, we provided the much needed... personal protection equipment for their innovation camps and also partnered with him to expand his services reach. The cash prizes have remained the same (UGX, 20,000,000) and the deadline for submission this year is 21st September 2025 at 23:59 EAT. We await your great idea !!!!

Beyond the award cash prizes, Innovation Consortium offers prototyping assistance to the most worthy submitted ideas irrespective of if they make the final cut or not. This assistance comes in two forms, financial and technical.
And here is one of the beneficiary teams ..."Kadaala" sharing their winning and prototyping experience. They were the first runners up in the 2024 Medal of Excellence edition for which they won UGX 5,500,000 (USD 1,500) and also got full prototyping funding courtesy of @Innovug
