Innovation Space

By definition, Innovation Consortium is a hub where futuristic Innovation combines with tested Incubation and client-centered Implementation to produce efficient viable and sustainable solutions. And as such, we run the Innovation Space project which is an open free thinking program. Through this program, deserving ideas are diagnosed, baked and refined into practical inventions and solutions to everyday problems. This is done through monthly brainstorming sessions whose products are later taken to the workshop for fine-tuning and implementation.

This program is open to everyone with an idea or willing to be part of one and is backed by the vast technical and social projects experience of our diverse team. We are proud to say that under our stewardship, this program/Space has produced many life changing ideas with the latest being the Slum House #slumhousereinvented and the prestigious Medal of Excellence https://innovug.com/medal/

Under this program, we are currently working on implementing the Medal of Excellence 2023 edition’s winning submission by Nankabirwa Anointed an Architecture student at Makerere University. Her design was a semi-permanent shelter design primed on recycled plastic walls/roof pivoting around a central metallic column tube. Once again, these sessions are free and open to anyone with an open mind. So feel free to send in your next big idea or come be part of the session as we turn thought into the next working solution.
